At the beginning of every Muay Thai class, you will learn that physical strength, will power and intellect are among a number of qualities that you must develop if you want to be a master at the art. There are many muay thai training videos in the web that offer good training tips for the beginner and intermediate level. The problem with training videos however are that it is one sided and you will never know if you are doing the drills correctly with proper form. With no one to correct you, this could lead to bad habits in practicing that will be equally difficult to try to remove. Muay thai training videos are a good addition to your training but could never replace the benefits a general Muay Thai class can offer.

There are many Muay Thai camps Thailand that offer training to locals and foreigners. Since the boom of muay thai during the early nineties, Thailand decided  to export their art to other countries by drawing them to their land in order for them to feel the genuine thing. You should be prepared for when you join a Muay Thai Camp because joining one is no joke. Muay thai training programs are rigid and are built to test the limits of your physical as well as mental capacity. Combine that with an entire stay in a camp circling around those ideals and you’ve got the idea. Joining a camp is difficult but worth it in the end  When in doubt about your training, always remember what Lumpinee champion Ramon Decker said, “hard training easy fight. Easy training hard fight.”
